Your information

Privacy Notice.

Last updated: 30 September 2026. This notice describes the New Renaissance community features operated by NEW RENAISSANCE Art Advisory LLC, a Delaware limited liability company in the United States. The company is responsible for the processing described in this notice. Business correspondence: 2810 N Church St 910112, Wilmington, DE 19802, United States. For questions about your information, contact info@newrenaissanceartadvisory.com.

Mobile number verification

When mobile verification is enabled, we use Twilio Verify to send and check a code to the number you provide. Twilio receives the number for this purpose. New Renaissance stores a keyed, one-way representation of the number, its last four digits and verification time to prevent the same number being linked to more than one account. We do not publish your number or use verification consent for marketing. Temporary verification records expire after ten minutes and are removed during subsequent verification requests. Account-linked phone records are removed when your account is deleted; provider operational records follow the provider’s retention policies. Contact us for help changing a number or correcting an account conflict. Possession of a number is not proof of legal identity.

Your account

We store your email address, securely hashed password and recovery information, profile details, account settings and security records needed to operate your account. Your email, password hash, recovery information and email security tokens are not included in your public profile. Community membership is separate from access to the advisory’s internal systems.

Adults only and policy acceptance

The network is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We check the birth date you enter to assess eligibility, without saving that date in your account. We retain the time of your adult declaration and the version of the policies you accept; these records are not public. A declaration is not independent age verification. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we restrict access and arrange removal of their personal information, subject to any necessary legal preservation. Parents, guardians and others can report an underage account without joining.

Who uses information and why

NEW RENAISSANCE Art Advisory LLC uses community information to provide requested features and account support, protect members and the service, assess reports, improve operation and meet legal obligations. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, account and feature processing supports our agreement with you; proportionate security, moderation and service improvement support legitimate interests; legally required processing meets legal obligations; and optional uses requiring consent rely on your consent. You can contact us to ask about a particular use or withdraw consent for an optional use without affecting earlier lawful processing.

We share relevant information with service providers described here and authorized people operating the network. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate abuse or establish or defend legal rights. We do not sell community personal information or use community activity for third-party behavioral advertising. Providers may process information in countries different from yours; contact us for information about the locations and safeguards applicable to your data.

Optional weekly newsletter

If you choose New Renaissance Weekly, we record your email address, consent wording, subscription choice and the time and source of that choice. Resend processes your email address and any name used in the message to deliver weekly artist, community, feature and opportunity updates. Subscription is optional and separate from creating an account. You can withdraw consent in Settings or through the unsubscribe link in every newsletter. We record unsubscribes, bounces and complaints to respect your preferences and stop unwanted delivery. Open and click tracking are disabled for this newsletter. Essential account and security emails continue independently.

Email verification and recovery

Account security features use email to verify ownership, recover access and confirm email changes. We store verification status and protected, expiring token records. Email changes require confirmation from both addresses. When account email is enabled, Resend processes the destination email address and message to deliver these account emails. Never share a password, recovery code or security link with another member.

Visibility is a choice

The network opens in stages. Public registration, public profiles and public posts are controlled separately. During a private phase, community content requires an active account. Enabling public discovery does not automatically publish previously private profiles or posts.

Where public visibility is offered, a profile or post becomes eligible for anonymous viewing only after its owner explicitly chooses that visibility. A public post also requires its author’s profile to be public. Public profile details, public contributions and associated images may be viewed or shared outside the network. Comments on public content may also be visible, depending on the commenter’s profile visibility.

Members-only material is restricted to signed-in members. Other members may still copy or share what they can view. Blocking limits signed-in access and interactions; it cannot prevent someone from viewing your public material anonymously or from an independent copy.

Community activity

We store posts, images, videos, comments, follows, appreciations and saved posts so the community works across devices. Saved posts and your list of blocked members are private to your account. Follower and engagement counts can appear alongside profiles and posts. Invitation records connect an invitation with its issuing account and track use without displaying private contact information in the invitation link.

Your collection and collecting journal

Collection records, collection images, acquisition details, private notes and journal entries start private. You can choose to share selected works or journal entries with signed-in members after reviewing the fields shown. A shared work includes its image, title, creator, year, medium, dimensions, collection status and story. Its purchase price, currency, acquisition date and private notes are excluded. A shared journal entry includes its title, date, type and full text; its linked-work reference is excluded. Avoid including financial or sensitive details in a story or entry you choose to share.

Making a record private or archiving it removes it from the member-facing collection. Restoring an archived record keeps it private. Members may retain copies they previously viewed. Collection sharing is members-only even if your profile is public. Account blocking applies to shared collections and their images.

Your workspace can export your collection records and journal as JSON. This export includes private fields and should be stored securely; it does not include image files. Creative brief drafts are private and can be downloaded as text. Saving a draft does not publish it or submit it to other members. If you continue to creative discovery and send your reviewed brief, a copy and the contact details you approve are shared privately with the New Renaissance advisory team to review your request and follow up. This does not start a paid engagement. Authorized operations and service providers process these records to operate the service; these records are not end-to-end encrypted.

Institutional representation

An institutional account includes the institution’s profile and its representative’s name, role and account email. Authorized staff use representative details and verification records to review identity and authority. The representative’s private contact details are not published as part of the institutional profile. Do not place sensitive documents or personal information in a public description.

Private messages and reports

Messages are available to their participants. They are not end-to-end encrypted. Authorized staff can review a reported message while assessing that report; moderation tools do not provide routine access to unrelated private conversations. Reports and moderation records are available to authorized staff and are used to assess concerns, enforce community rules and review decisions.

Published journals and the Archive

A journal published with the post editor appears on your profile and in the New Renaissance Archive for its chosen audience. This does not publish your private collecting journal. Recent readership, appreciations and conversations help determine which published journals appear in Popular this week. Hidden, deleted and blocked content is excluded from discovery.

Readership and creator insights

For signed-in members, we measure visits to named community areas and time-qualified views of posts and profiles. A view is sent after five seconds in an active tab; repeat views are limited to one per member, object and UTC day. Records contain the member ID, viewed post or profile ID or named area, and time. They do not contain search terms, message content or browsing outside this platform. We exclude self-views from creator readership. Creators see aggregate readership and engagement for their own content, without reader identities. Counts do not reconstruct visits from before measurement began.

Purple and discovery

We keep a private Purple ledger of rewards and spending: your member ID, the associated action reference, credit amount and time. Eligible actions earn rewards once; removing an interaction does not reset its reward eligibility. Purple has no daily earning or messaging quota. Earned contribution totals determine your community level. Opening a new conversation costs 10 Purple once, with your confirmation before the first message is delivered. Replies and later messages in that conversation are free for both members, including at zero balance. Purple cannot override blocks or a closed inbox. Ledger records are removed with your account.

For You and Explore recommendations use your interests, follows, likes, saves, comments, time spent on visible feed posts, completed videos and Not interested feedback, with a mix of creators and fresh work. Viewing preferences are stored privately as one compact summary per post, limited to 400 recent posts per account; recommendations use activity from the past 90 days. You can clear viewing summaries with Reset viewing preferences in the For You feed. This does not remove your likes, saves, follows or profile interests. Viewing summaries are also removed with your account. You can choose popular or chronological results. Repeated engagement from the same person is limited in ranking, and self-interactions, blocked accounts and suspended accounts are excluded.

Location is optional. You can add a place to a post, use your profile location, or enter a place to explore. Recommendations can give a small preference to places matching your profile location. Local results use a post’s location when provided, or its author’s profile location otherwise. Post and profile locations are visible to their respective audiences. We do not request GPS access.

Optional usage analytics and interface tests

For signed-in members who allow usage analytics, we record named page areas, interface actions, broad platform category (app, mobile web or desktop web), a temporary browsing-session identifier and time, linked to the member account. We use these records to evaluate interface patterns and return visits. Interface tests use stable account assignment; exposure and successful share or copy actions help compare versions. Owner and App Store screenshot activity are excluded. Only the platform owner can access member-level UI insights and test reports. We do not record full URLs, search terms, message or post text, form values, raw device identifiers or browsing outside New Renaissance in this event stream.

You can turn off this optional measurement in Settings under Help improve New Renaissance. Turning it off removes your UI event history and experiment assignments and stops new optional UI events. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control also pause optional measurement. Essential account, safety and participation records continue separately. Reports use at most 90 days of raw UI events; older events and expired test assignments are removed in bounded batches during service use. These records are deleted with your account. This measurement uses no advertising or cross-app tracking.

Operational and participation measurements

We record limited events such as registration, account sessions, profile completion, follows, posts, comments, messages, saves and invitations. These records identify the event type, time and associated community account. They support aggregate measures of participation, activation and service operation; the event records do not include the text of private messages or posts.

Request counters and protected network identifiers help detect excessive or abusive requests. Service logs help diagnose errors and delivery problems. These community measurements do not add advertising trackers or a behavioral advertising profile.

Sessions and service providers

A necessary secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 14 days. Session tokens are stored as hashes. Vercel hosts the application; Supabase provides the database and media storage. When signup protection is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and network signals to assess automated requests. Service providers process information needed for their respective functions.

Your controls

You can edit your profile, change available visibility settings, delete your posts, remove saved items, block members, disable incoming messages and change your password. Password recovery and completed email changes revoke existing sessions and replace recovery credentials. Signing out ends the current session. Public content that you make private can remain in copies previously saved by other people.

Group conversations

Group creators invite members, and each invitee chooses whether to join. Joining gives access to the group’s conversation history. Messages and participant names are visible to people who have joined. Leaving removes your access, but messages you already sent remain visible to the group. Blocking can make a shared group unavailable; you can still leave it. Group messages and memberships are removed when their author deletes their account. Deleting the group creator’s account also deletes that group.

Deleting your account

You can delete your community account in settings after confirming your password. The deletion flow removes your stored community images and videos and deletes your account and related content from the active community system, including profile details, owned posts, comments, saved items, collection records, collecting journal entries, creative brief drafts, conversations and account-linked participation events. Some moderation audit information and provider operational records may remain separately from your account.

Provider backups and operational logs follow the providers’ configured retention and deletion processes. Copies saved independently by other people are outside our control. This notice does not promise immediate deletion from every backup or third-party copy. Contact us about access, correction or deletion requests you cannot complete in settings.

Privacy requests and changes

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, and complain to a data-protection regulator. Contact info@newrenaissanceartadvisory.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need proportionate information to verify your request; do not send identity documents unless a secure process is agreed. We assess requests under applicable law and explain any limits. We keep information for the purposes described above, including necessary security, legal and moderation records, rather than promising a single retention period for every record. Material changes to this notice will be dated and brought to members’ attention where appropriate.

Merchandise delivery

If you redeem Purple for merchandise, we record your chosen item, size, order status and delivery details. New Renaissance and its fulfilment provider use your name, account email and shipping address to produce, deliver and support the order. Delivery addresses are not displayed on member profiles. Cancelling an order before fulfilment removes its delivery address from the order record.
