MIND PROJECTOR (2026) 52 × 56 inches Acrylic, latex house paint, and watercolor on cotton duck canvas
MIND PROJECTOR is about how much of our reality is shaped by what’s going on inside our heads. The painting shows a group of Observers working together to operate a machine that’s projecting something much bigger than themselves.
I was thinking about how our minds are constantly taking in information and turning it into our own version of the world. Our memories, fears, and imagination all play a part in how we see things, and no two people experience everything the same way.
It’s really about that space between what’s actually happening around us and what our minds make of it.
