NEW RENAISSANCE

For artists / New Renaissance

Give your practice a place to grow.

New Renaissance is an online community for artists and creative people. Bring your finished work, experiments, writing and projects together, and build relationships with people who want to understand what you make.

Core participation is free. Membership is currently by invitation, for adults aged 18 and over.

Inside the community

A place to take part.

01

Show the practice behind the work.

Your profile brings artworks, posts, projects and Journal entries into one place. Add the context that a single image cannot carry: the materials you work with, the questions you return to and what you are developing next.

02

Meet beyond your existing circle.

Follow artists whose work interests you, respond to a specific idea and begin a conversation. Collectors, curators, advisors and people from other creative disciplines participate in the same network.

03

Give collaboration a clear starting point.

Share a project or opportunity with a concrete purpose. Explain what you are making, the contribution you need, the location and the timing. A useful invitation gives someone enough context to decide whether to get involved.

Explore before joining

Meet the practice behind the profile.

Read public perspectives from our Journal and discover the profiles and work that members choose to share beyond the network.

A useful beginning

Start with a clear intention.

  1. 01

    Introduce your practice.

Choose a portrait or artwork for your profile, write a short biography and describe your interests. Tell people what you can contribute and what you are looking for.

  2. 02

    Share one work with context.

Start with a piece you can talk about. Include its title, medium and dimensions where relevant, then explain one decision or question behind it.

  3. 03

    Make a thoughtful connection.

Find a few people whose work you want to follow. Leave a specific comment or ask a considered question. Relationships develop through repeated attention.

Before you join.

Do I need gallery representation to join?

No. New Renaissance welcomes artists at different stages, including independent and emerging artists. Membership is for adults aged 18 and over.

Is the artist community free?

Core participation is free. Optional memberships and purchases are separate. Joining currently requires a member invitation; you can also express your interest through the waitlist.

Can my profile appear in Google?

You can choose Public in Profile & settings to make your profile readable outside the network and eligible for search. Posts and artworks have their own audience setting. Choosing a public profile does not make existing member-only or private work public.

Does joining guarantee sales or exhibitions?

No. The platform helps you share your practice, discover people and build relationships. Sales, commissions and collaborations depend on the people and circumstances involved.
