Founder / CEO
An artist, entrepreneur, developer and roboticist, Joe founded New Renaissance Art Advisory from his own experience making work and building relationships with collectors around the world. His ambition is to help visionary creators connect with the people and resources that allow their work to grow.

New Renaissance began with an artist’s question: how can the relationships surrounding art become a stronger source of support for creative life? In December 2022, Joe Taveras decided to build an art advisory that could both promote visionary creators and create a mechanism for cultural patronage.
That founding idea now connects an international community of artists, advisors and cultural partners. Through the network, people share work and build relationships; through our advisory, we help develop those interests into acquisitions, commissions and partnerships. Both grow from the same commitment to creative work and the people who support it.
In August 2026, New Renaissance opened a temporary showroom in Tarxien, Malta. The presentation and first private salon brought artists, collectors and guests together around the work. That spirit of encounter continues through the platform, advisory and cultural projects.
