Afro-Dominican, Scholar, Contemporary Curator,

I am an Afro-Dominican independent curator and scholar based in South Jersey, whose work focuses on modern and contemporary art, particularly within Afro-Latinx, and Afro-diasporic visual cultures. I’ve held roles in both large and small institutions, including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, CALA Alliance (Celebración Artística de las Américas), and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where I worked on The Time is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure, a major international touring exhibition featuring 28 Black and African diasporic artists working across the United States and the United Kingdom. In addition to working in major institutions, I’ve contributed to a range of gallery and community based projects, developing programming and public engagement initiatives that center underrepresented voices and foster meaningful dialogue with audiences.
